Savage Gear Defiance SG2 Ultra Light Game Rod

Designed to handle the absolute lightest lines and lures, this rod excels in Light Rock Fishing (LRF) and Micro Game styles, where sensitivity and precise lure control are paramount.

Key Specifications:

Features for Finesse Angling:

• Extreme Sensitivity: The blank is expertly fine-tuned to transmit every subtle vibration. This allows the angler to feel every twitch and turn of the lure, which is critical for attractive lure presentation and detecting soft takes from finicky species.
• Optimal Lure Range: With a casting weight from 0.5g to 7g, the rod is perfectly suited for micro jigs, tiny crankbaits, small soft plastics, and other micro lures used in LRF.
• Balance of Power: Despite the ultra-light designation, the rod possesses plenty of fight within them for any unexpected challenges, ensuring you have enough backbone to land accidental larger fish.
• Premium Componentry:
  • Reel Seat: High-quality SeaGuide Gold Label reel seat for a secure and sensitive connection.
  • Guides: Equipped with SeaGuide Gunsmoke SW Guides (Saltwater Guides), providing durability and smooth line flow, even with light braid and thin mono.
• Durability and Comfort: Features Tough EVA handles for a secure, comfortable grip during long sessions, and is supplied with Deluxe Rod bags for protected transport.

Ideal Applications:

• Light Rock Fishing (LRF)
