Westin Add-It Jointed Stinger HD 90lb / 40kg

The Westin Add-It Jointed Stinger HD is engineered for one specific purpose: providing an indestructible connection between you and the largest toothy predators. Designed with extreme durability in mind, these 90lb (40kg) breaking strain stingers are the Heavy Duty version of the standard Add-It range, featuring beefed-up swivels and components that can withstand the violent head-shakes of trophy pike, muskie, and monster zander.

The standout feature of this rig is the multi-jointed swivel construction. By replacing traditional wire with high-grade swivels, Westin has created a stinger that allows for a full 360-degree rotation. This means that when a fish rolls or jumps, the hook moves with them, virtually eliminating the leverage a fish usually uses to spit the hook.

Product Details & Performance Features

• 360 Free Rotation: Traditional wire stingers can kink or provide a fixed point for a fish to leverage against. The multi-jointed swivel design ensures the hook can rotate freely in any direction, significantly increasing your landing rate during intense fights.

• Increased Lure Stability: Unlike lightweight wire, the solid steel swivels add a small amount of keel weight to the underside of your soft lure. This helps stabilize large shads and swimbaits, ensuring they maintain a perfect swimming action even at higher speeds.

• Extreme Durability: Built for the most extreme predator environments, the HD version features larger, reinforced swivels and split rings. This rig will not kink or weaken after a catch, meaning one stinger can often last an entire season of heavy use.

• Versatile Rigging: These stingers are the Swiss Army Knife of predator rigs. They can be quickly attached to shallow screws for topwater fishing, or to heavy screw-in heads for deep-water vertical jigging.

• Ultra-Sharp Trebles: Each stinger is armed with Westins tournament-grade treble hooks, featuring a high-carbon steel construction and a needle-sharp point that penetrates even the boney pads of a large pikes mouth.

Gerrys Pro Tip: The 90lb HD Stinger is the only choice when fishing with lures over 20cm. For the ultimate setup, pair these with Westin ShadTeez or BullTeez. The added weight of the swivels helps tune the roll of the lure, making it look even more natural to a following predator.
