Gerrys Tip: The Octapot design is great because it doesnt spin on the tip. I recommend fitting the pot about 1015cm back from the PTFE bush. This keeps the weight off the very end of the tip, making the pole feel much more responsive. If youre using the trickle lid with maggots, give the pole a tiny tap every 30 seconds to encourage one or two baits to fall outits a killer tactic for drawing fish up into the mid-water layers
