Shimano STC XR Blue Boat | 76 20-30lb 4pc

The Heavyweight Champion of Travel Boat Rods.

At Gerrys Fishing, we know that traveling for big game usually means hauling heavy, oversized rod tubesbut not anymore. The Shimano STC XR Blue Boat is a top-tier, compact powerhouse designed for the serious boat angler who refuses to compromise on strength. Whether youre hunting giant Cod, Pollack, and Halibut in the deep fjords of Norway or targeting hard-fighting tropical pelagics abroad, this rod is built to dominate.

This isnt your average travel rod. By utilizing High Modulus Full Carbon combined with HPC (High Pressure Carbon), Nanosheet, and Diaflash technology, Shimano has created a blank that is incredibly slim and lightweight, yet possesses enough backbone to stop a freight train. The moderate-fast action provides the perfect tip flex to work large softbaits, metal jigs, and pilks effectively in deep water, while the reinforced butt section ensures you have the leverage to win the fight against true monsters.

Measuring 2.29m but breaking down to a tiny 62cm, this 4-piece masterclass fits easily into standard luggage, saving you from expensive airline oversize fees without losing an ounce of performance.
