The Avid Carp Revolve NG Bivvy 2 Person Overwrap is a dedicated accessory designed to work in conjunction with the Avid Carp Revolve NG 2-Person Bivvy. It is not a standalone shelter but a specialized overwrap that creates a twin-skin system, offering significant benefits for anglers on longer sessions or in challenging weather conditions.

Here is an in-depth description with specifications for this bivvy overwrap:

Key Features and Description

• Functionality: The primary purpose of the overwrap is to create a second layer over the existing bivvy. This twin-skin design creates an insulating air gap between the two layers. This layer helps to trap warmth inside the bivvy during colder months, and conversely, it helps to keep the interior cooler in direct sunlight.
• Condensation Reduction: One of the most significant advantages of using an overwrap is the dramatic reduction of condensation. By creating the thermal barrier, the overwrap prevents the warm, moist air inside the bivvy from coming into direct contact with the cold outer fabric, which is the main cause of condensation. This ensures your gear and the inside of the bivvy remain dry and comfortable.
• Material and Waterproofing: The overwrap is made from a durable 100% polyester fabric with a high-performance 10,000mm hydrostatic head. This is the same material and waterproof rating as the main bivvy, ensuring that the entire shelter system offers excellent protection from even torrential rain.
• Additional Space: The overwrap is designed to extend beyond the front of the bivvy, creating a small, sheltered porch area. This space is perfect for storing items that you dont want inside the main bivvy, such as wet waders, muddy boots, or bait buckets, helping to keep your main living area clean and organized.
• Integrated Features: The overwrap features a door that mirrors the bivvys own, offering the same versatile options, including a solid fabric panel and a mesh insert for bug-free ventilation. It also includes rod straps on the front to secure your rods. A notable feature of the NG (Next Generation) overwrap is a large rear mesh vent with zip access to the bivvy, which provides optimal airflow and ventilation.
• Compatibility: This overwrap is specifically tailored to fit the Avid Carp Revolve NG 2-Person Bivvy perfectly, ensuring a snug fit and maximum performance.
• Transport and Included Items: The overwrap packs down into a compact size and is supplied with its own set of heavy-duty pegs, allowing it to be securely anchored to the ground and the bivvys frame.
