The BKK Pluggin Single HD is a specialised single assist hook designed to replace the treble hooks on your hard lures, making it a serious upgrade for any UK lure angler targeting powerful saltwater species. By replacing a treble with this single assist hook, you not only reduce the risk of deep-hooking, allowing for easier and safer catch and release, but also minimise the twisting forces that can cause a treble to pull out during a fight. The single hook offers a much cleaner, more secure hook-up.

For UK lure fishing, especially for species like bass, pollack, and even offshore tuna and cod, this hook is a game-changer. The use of a hollow-core assist cord gives the hook more freedom of motion, which is crucial for a heightened hook-up ratio and for preventing the fish from using the lure as leverage to throw the hook. The shimmering fibres added to the cord also provide an extra visual attraction, drawing the eye of predatory fish to your lures key strike zone.

These are a great addition for any larger pirks and jigs for fishing around the UK & Norway.

The BKK Pluggin Single HD is packed with BKKs most advanced hook technologies. Its point is crafted using their Hand Ground technology, where the hook is meticulously ground into a triangular shape. This process, which is done by hand, reduces piercing resistance and enhances penetration, giving you a lightning-fast and secure hook set even on the bony jaw of a large fish. The hook is made from BKKs high-carbon steel and finished with a Bright Tin coating, providing excellent corrosion resistance that is essential for withstanding the harsh UK saltwater environment. The combination of a razor-sharp point, a strong shank, and a clever assist cord design makes this hook a premium choice for any angler looking to upgrade their lures performance and land more fish.
