Bucktail is perfect for all types of baitfish, sea trout and salmon flies and pike flies in particular. At the same time, it is indispensable for saltwater flies. One of the most used materials in general. Perfect as an underwing on sandeels and other fish imitations. Bucktail is also the only material used for the legendary Jiggy. A fine imitation for the Danish coasts. Can also be used as a feeler on shrimp flies.
At the same time, bucktail is also included in many saltwater flies for tropical fishing.
