Duo Soft Lure Claw Trap 5 inch F060

5 inch

The Claw Trap 5 inch is a creature-style soft plastic made for slower presentations around cover.

Instead of imitating a clean baitfish, it gives fish legs, claws, bulk, and movement useful when predators are feeding on prawns, craws, crabs, or bottom prey.

Rig it Texas style, on a jig head, or as a trailer depending on the cover and depth.

Crawl it, hop it, shake it, or let it fall beside structure.

The important part is not speed; it is keeping the bait in the zone long enough for a fish holding tight to cover to decide to eat.

It is strongest around weed, rocks, timber, mangroves, pontoons, and bottom edges.

It is not the best lure for covering open water quickly, but for picking apart structure, it gives a more natural target than a fast hardbait.

TARGET SPECIES: bass, peacock bass, perch, bream, grouper, mangrove predators, and fish holding tight to cover.
