The Fox Voyager 1 Person Bivvy + Inner Dome is a comprehensive shelter system designed for the serious angler who values space, comfort, and all-weather performance. It combines the core features of the Fox Voyager 1 Person Bivvy with the added benefits of a dedicated inner dome, creating a dual-layer shelter that excels in a variety of conditions.

Fox Voyager 1 Person Bivvy

The bivvy itself is a standalone, high-quality shelter.

• Design: It features a classic 2-rib pram-hood design with a rigid 19mm aluminum frame and full frame support, ensuring stability and a quick setup.
• Dimensions: The bivvy offers an impressive amount of internal space for a one-person shelter, with dimensions of 235cm (D) x 295cm (W) x 165cm (H). The extra height (165cm) is a significant advantage, allowing you to sit up on your bed chair without feeling cramped.
• Fabric and Weatherproofing: Its made from a hard-wearing, breathable khaki polyester fabric with a 10,000mm hydrostatic head, providing excellent protection from the rain. An oversized peak offers extra protection to the doorway.
• Ventilation: The bivvy includes large front and rear mozzy mesh panels for superior airflow. The front door is a two-way letterbox style with three options: solid, clear PVC, and mozzy mesh.
• Included Accessories: The bivvy comes with a heavy-duty groundsheet, two rod straps at the front, and heavy-duty pegs, all packed in an oversized carry bag.

Fox Voyager 1 Person Inner Dome

The inner dome is specifically designed to integrate with the Voyager 1 Person Bivvy, turning it into a twin-skin shelter.

• Twin-Skin System: The inner dome creates a sealed inner capsule, trapping a layer of air between the bivvy and the inner dome. This provides a high level of insulation, keeping you warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.
• Condensation Control: The twin-skin design is highly effective at eliminating condensation. Any moisture that forms on the inside of the main bivvy fabric is contained between the two layers, preventing it from dripping on your gear or bedding.
• Insect and Rodent Protection: With an integrated, zip-in/out groundsheet and a fully enclosed mesh capsule, the inner dome provides a complete barrier against insects, rodents, and other unwanted creatures. This ensures a comfortable and undisturbed nights sleep.
• Easy Integration: The inner dome uses O-Ring connections inside the bivvy, making it quick and easy to attach or detach. A key benefit is that it can be packed away while still attached to the bivvy (by removing the groundsheet), saving you time on the bank.
• Weight: The inner dome is lightweight, with a packed weight of 1.8kg (or 2.7kg in some listings), making it a manageable addition to your kit.

Combined System Benefits

When used together, the Fox Voyager 1 Person Bivvy and Inner Dome create a high-performance system that offers:

• Ultimate Comfort: The combination of space and insulation makes for a much more comfortable living area, especially during long sessions.
• All-Season Performance: The system is highly adaptable, providing warmth in cold weather and excellent ventilation in warm weather.
• Protection: You get a sealed, bug-free, and dry environment regardless of the weather conditions.
• Convenience: The entire system packs down efficiently into the oversized carry bag, and the inner dome can be left attached for quicker setup on subsequent trips.
