The Headbanger Cranky Shad 2-1/2″ packs the edgy, erratic, evasive side-to-side Headbanger action into a compact baitfish profile combined with a powerful low-frequency vibration that displaces water and makes it easy for nearby predators to detect. All created by the patented Action Lip.

Why anglers fish the Cranky Shad 2-1/2″

• Patented Action Lip drives an erratic, side-to-side hunting action that triggers reaction strikes; remove it for a calmer glide
• Compact 2-1/2″ profile matches small baitfish and shines on pressured, finesse-minded fish
• Low-frequency thump + rattle balls detectable in murky water and low light
• Holographic foils and transparent body paints depth and natural flash
• Slow-sinking body count it down through the 14 ft strike zone
• Rigged with razor-sharp VMC 7548 trebles (#6 and #8) fish it straight out of the pack

When and how to fish it

A simple straight retrieve produces the swimming action; pauses and twitches enhance it. Perfect for shallow spin fishing for bass, perch, and panfish, and a strong trolling lure that can be weighted or downrigged to reach depth.
