The Jackson Athlete 55LL Tune is a lipless lure is a sinking lure designed to fish shallow parts of the water column. To fish shallow areas with a sinking lipless lure in the past has been difficult due to fast sink rates, but the Jackson Athlete 55LL Tune’s weight and distribution makes for a perfect slow fall and flutter action even in the shallows. While the Jackson Athlete 55LL is catered to shallow water fishing, it can be used in deeper waters and the slow fall only amplifies the already great flutter action on fall. With a fulcrum point set rear of centre, it is a temptation that few fish looking upward for bait will be able to resist.
