Designed for saltwater lure fishing, the Ruthless inline single hook prioritizes unmatched hook-up ratios and secure hook-sets that hold strong during a fight with a trashing tuna or skittish snook. To make this happen, the gap and bend has been maxed out and Mustad’s latest hook technology has perfected the point. The newest point to the Opti-Angle family, AlphaPoint 4.8 Technology, has been honed to be sticky-sharp and refined to be our slimmest point yet. With the durability of Opti-Angle sharpening process, hooks with AlphaPoint are 10 times more durable than competitor needlepoints. Mustad has applied Titan Steel finish for extended 500+ hours saltwater corrosion resistance, second only to stainless steel.
