Nash Scope 9ft 4lb Abbreviated Rod

The Nash Scope 9ft 4lb Abbreviated rod is the most powerful tool in the compact range. It is engineered for the dedicated UK angler who requires maximum authority in the smallest package, making it the perfect Spod, Marker, or extreme snag rod where space is at a premium.

Why Choose the 9ft 4lb Abbreviated for Extreme UK Angling?

• Dedicated Spod/Marker Rod: The formidable 4lb test curve provides the sheer backbone required to launch large spods, heavy marker floats, and massive PVA bags with minimal effort and surprising accuracy, making it a highly mobile and compact baiting tool.
• Ultimate Snag Power: In short-range, heavy-cover situations, this rod offers unparalleled leverage. The extreme power allows for instant control over big carp, turning their heads away from snags and weed beds where a softer rod would fail.
• Compact Footprint: Despite its immense power, the 9ft length, combined with the patented telescoping butt design, reduces the packed-down size to a mere 44inches (112cm). This makes it ideal for carrying rigged-up on a barrow, fitting into smaller vehicles, or use in extremely tight swims.
• Lightweight & Ergonomic Grip: The Abbreviated Black Shrink handle maintains a modern, clean look while offering a comfortable, secure grip necessary for the powerful, repetitive casting required for baiting.

Core Construction & Performance:

Built on a rugged 24tonne low resin carbon blank, the rod features a strengthening helical weave to minimize blank distortion under the huge stresses of baiting or extreme fish fighting, ensuring maximum efficiency and reliability. It features standard Seaguide TDG Minima style ringing for lightweight performance.
