Performance-Driven Shooting Line

The RIO SlickShooter is a premier choice for anglers seeking maximum distance and efficiency. This thin, hard nylon shooting line is designed with a super-hard, slick finish that features an extremely low coefficient of friction. This high-performance coating allows for effortless, long-distance casts while ensuring the line glides through the guides with ease.

The unique oval shape of the nylon construction is a key performance factor, specifically engineered to drastically reduce tangles and increase shooting distance. Beyond its casting capabilities, the stiffness of the line allows anglers to effectively hold a significant amount of line off the water during the swing, providing better control and presentation in various current conditions. Once stretched, the material exhibits no memory, ensuring a straight, direct connection to your fly.

Recognized as a highly economical shooting line solution, it offers professional-grade performance without compromise. Whether you are fishing large rivers or seeking extra reach on the flats, this line provides the durability and slickness required for demanding environments.
