While retaining the blank’s emphasis on resilience for enduring high-load, prolonged fights, the addition of X-guides improves casting performance, pursuing a smooth, exhilarating casting feel and increased casting distance.

It can accurately cast and manipulate lighter plugs around 60g, and is also well-suited for larger plugs up to 180g.
Made primarily of low-modulus carbon, it excels at stable casting and lifelike plug manipulation with minimal error.
The sluggishness and weight often associated with low-modulus rods are thoroughly suppressed by Shimano’s rod technology.
The butt section is built to be extremely strong, unleashing power that increases the more it is bent.

The pivot point of the blank’s bend easily shifts towards the angler’s hand, reducing strain and fatigue, and supporting upright fighting and stable lifting.
This model is ideal for targeting kingfish and tuna.
