“Conquer the shore with unwavering tenacity and power.” Rocky shore casting, targeting big yellowtail fish and tuna from the shore.
The Colt Sniper Xtune is a serious rod proposed by Shimano for stoic anglers who take on this demanding game.
The blank, which thoroughly pursues destructive strength and tenacity, enables stable power fights and angler-led game development, and has made countless big game catches possible.
This completely redesigned model inherits all the advantages of the previous model, such as tenacity and power, while further enhancing sharpness and responsiveness.
The evolved blank accurately transmits casting and rod work, and the newly installed X Guide Touch Free Titanium contributes to improved casting distance and reduced line damage with a comfortable casting feel.
Its reliable performance supports high-quality game plans, turning even the disadvantages inherent in rocky shore casting, such as poor footing and headwinds, into advantages.

Colt Sniper Xtune S98XH-3…A power rod featuring a stepped length design.
Designed for quick response during both plug and jig operations, its slightly shorter length eliminates the sluggishness often associated with power rods, supporting a light and responsive rod action.
