Shimano Soare BB Spinning Solid Tip 76 0.5-5g 2pc The LRF Precision Specialist

The Shimano Soare BB is a dedicated Light Rock Fishing (LRF) and ultra-light game rod designed to deliver high-end JDM performance at an accessible price point. Taking inspiration from the elite Soare XR series, this 76 Ultra-Light (UL) model is the ultimate choice for anglers targeting small predators around coastal rocks, harbors, and urban structures.

The standout feature of this rod is its TAFTEC Alpha Solid Tip, which is significantly more supple and sensitive than traditional hollow tips. This allows you to work micro-lures with extreme precision and register the faintest plucks from small species like blennies, gobies, and perch.

Product Details & Uses

• TAFTEC Alpha Solid Tip: This ultra-fine solid carbon tip provides exceptional bite registration. It allows fish to take the lure without feeling the resistance of the rod blank, making it perfect for finesse tactics where fish are shy or tentative.

• Hi-Power X Construction: The blank is reinforced with Shimanos Hi-Power X technology, which uses carbon tape wrapped diagonally around the outer layer. This reduces blank twist, significantly improving casting accuracy and giving the rod a crisp, responsive feel.

• Bridge CI4+ Reel Seat: Drawing from Shimanos top-tier design philosophy, the Bridge CI4+ reel seat is not only ergonomic and lightweight but acts as a direct link between the blank and your hand, magnifying vibrations for maximum feedback.

• Premium Guide Train: To ensure perfect management of ultra-fine braids and fluorocarbons, the rod is fitted with Fuji Stainless Steel Alconite guides. The inclusion of a Fuji SiC tip guide reduces friction and heat, protecting your light lines during intense fights.

• Specialized LRF Action: With a 0.5-5g casting range, this rod is perfectly balanced for micro-jigging, dropshotting with tiny weights, and using unweighted soft plastics. The 76 length provides excellent reach when fishing over harbor walls or rock ledges.

Gerrys Pro Tip: The Soare BB S76ULS is the go-to rod for technical harbor fishing. The extra length compared to shorter LRF rods helps you steer small fish away from barnacle-covered pilings and gives you better lure control in deeper water or tidal flows.
