Shimano Travellers Wrap | The Ultimate Grab-and-Go Tackle Solution

At Gerrys Fishing, we highly recommend the Shimano Travellers Wrap for the mobile angler who values speed and efficiency. Whether youre hiking to a remote mountain stream, walking urban canal banks, or need a compact kit for a quick kayak session, this wrap eliminates the need for bulky tackle boxes. It is a masterclass in minimalist organization, providing a best of both worlds approach by combining a rigid tray for hard lures with specialized sleeves for soft plastics.

Constructed from a robust blend of 420D and 210D Polyester, the Travellers Wrap is incredibly lightweight yet tough enough to handle the scuffs and salt spray of active fishing.

Versatile Hybrid Storage Features

• Hard Tackle Tray Included: The wrap comes equipped with a removable, rigid plastic tackle tray (approx. 19cm x 13cm). This is the perfect secure home for hardbody lures, vibes, or small metal jigs, ensuring they dont tangle or damage other gear.

• 5 Integrated Clear Sleeves: Designed specifically for the soft plastic enthusiast, the wrap features five heavy-duty clear sleeves. These are perfect for keeping your favorite soft baits in their original packetspreserving their scents and preventing them from kinking.

• Handy Mesh Tool Pocket: A dedicated mesh pocket provides a breathable, secure space for your must-have tools. Its the ideal spot for braid cutters, leader spools, forceps, or even packets of spare hooks and swivels.

• Fold-Over Wrap Design: The low-profile, fold-over design is secured with heavy-duty fasteners, allowing the wrap to expand or contract based on how much gear youre carrying. This makes it easy to slide into a rucksack or a kayak hatch.

• Integrated Carry Handle: Even though its designed to be stored inside a larger bag, the reinforced carry handle makes it a breeze to carry on its own for those short walks between fishing spots.

Use Example: The Minimalist Hiking or Kayak Session

Imagine youre hiking into a secluded spot for Trout or Bass. You want to stay as light as possible to save energy for the walk, but you need to be prepared for different water conditions.

The Shimano Travellers Wrap is your perfect partner. You fill the hard tray with a selection of small crankbaits and spinners. In the clear sleeves, you pack a few different profiles of soft plasticspaddletails for the flow and worms for the deeper pools. Your braid cutters and fluorocarbon leader are tucked into the mesh pocket. Instead of lugging a 2kg tackle bag, you have everything you need in a single, 300g wrap that clips onto your belt or slides into your pocket.
