Sonik Bank-Tek Levelbed Wide: Uncompromising Comfort for the Larger Angler

At Gerrys Fishing, we highly recommend the Sonik Bank-Tek Levelbed Wide for anglers who find standard bedchairs a bit too restrictive. Measuring a generous 95cm in width, this bed provides that extra room needed for a truly restful nights sleep. Designed with an 8-leg frame rather than the standard 6, it offers superior weight distribution and rock-solid stability, ensuring the bed wont tip if you sit on the very end or the edges.

The Levelbed Wide is built on a 100% flat profile frame, which is critical for maintaining a natural sleeping position and preventing back ache during long sessions. The mattress is a combination of hard-wearing HD 600D Bank-Tek material and a luxurious micro-fleece cover, providing integrated warmth and a soft-touch finish.

Technical Specifications

The Levelbed Wide is a heavy-duty support system built for longevity:

Key Comfort & Stability Features

• Extra-Wide 95cm Frame: The added width is perfect for larger anglers or those who simply prefer more room to turn. It also allows larger 5-season sleeping bags to sit more naturally without hanging over the sides.

• 8-Leg Support System: By adding two extra legs, Sonik has created a bed with incredible structural integrity. The spread-leg design with short foot sections provides a lower center of gravity, making the bed feel extremely planted on the bank.

• Grip-Lok Leg Mechanism: This intuitive locking system makes leveling your bed effortless. Each of the eight legs can be adjusted independently to compensate for the most uneven terrain, while the large swivel mud feet prevent the bed from sinking into soft ground.

• 100% Flat Profile: Engineered to be completely level from head to toe. This design eliminates the need for old-fashioned adjustment wheels that often dig into your ribs, and it includes a raised pillow area for added neck support.

• Oversized Twin-Bracket Folding: The hinges are specifically designed with a wider gap. This allows you to leave even the thickest 5-season sleeping bag attached to the bed when you fold it up, making your setup and pack-down significantly faster.

• Dual Side Storage Pouches: Two integrated mesh pockets provide a secure, elevated place to keep your receiver, phone, or spectacles safe and within easy reach during the night.

• Stainless Steel Hardware: Every bolt, washer, and fixing is made from stainless steel. This prevents the rusting common in cheaper beds and ensures the frame remains strong and lightweight for years.

Why the Bank-Tek Levelbed Wide is a Gerrys Essential

• High Weight Capacity: Rated for up to 170kg, this is one of the most robust wide beds on the market, offering peace of mind for the heavier angler.

• Durable Fabric: The HD 600D PU-backed material is incredibly resistant to tears and moisture, while the micro-fleece center provides that extra bit of luxury on cold nights.

• Exceptional Value: It offers the features of premium Indulgence style bedslike 8 legs and stainless hardwareat a price point that is accessible to most dedicated carpers.

Gerrys Pro Tip: When using an 8-leg bed, start by extending the four central legs to the desired height first, then drop the head and foot legs to meet the ground. This ensures the main tension of your weight is held by the strongest part of the frame, providing the most stable level feel throughout the night
